Getting here
By train or by car,
it's an easy trip
Mandello station is five minutes' walk away, and if you come by car you have your own box in the underground garage, with a lift up to the loft.
By train, the simplest way
Mandello del Lario has its own station on the Milan–Lecco–Sondrio–Tirano line: regional trains from Milano Centrale take just over an hour, with no changes.
From the station to the loft is a five-minute walk, luggage included. Once here, the train is also a way of getting around: Varenna and Lecco are about ten minutes away, in opposite directions.
By car, with the garage box included
From Milan take the SS36 towards Lecco and then the expressway along the eastern shore of the lake, as far as the Mandello del Lario exit.
The box is in the residence's underground garage, free and reserved for you. From the garage the lift goes up to the loft: no suitcases to carry upstairs, and the car stays under cover until you need it again.
From the airports
Bergamo Orio al Serio: about an hour by car.
Milan Linate: about an hour by car.
Milan Malpensa: about an hour and twenty minutes by car without traffic; by train, changing in Milan.
From Malpensa and Orio al Serio there are also buses to Milano Centrale, where the train to Mandello leaves from.
By boat
In the months when the service runs, Lake Como boats also stop at Mandello: the pier is a few minutes' walk from the loft. Timetables change with the season.
To cross to the other shore, the handiest ferry is the one from Varenna to Bellagio and Menaggio: a fifteen-minute crossing.
Arriving at the loft
Check-in is self-service, between 4 pm and 8 pm, with a key lockbox: a few days before, we send you the code and the instructions.
